About The Crossing:

The Transbay Temporary Terminal, located on the blocks bounded by Folsom, Howard, Beale and Main Streets in San Francisco, provided temporary bus terminal facilities during the construction of the new Salesforce Transit Center.

The Terminal served more than 20,000 people a day and operated from August 2010 until the opening of the new Transit Center in August 2018. 

Since then, the site has remained vacant, with various efforts within the community to activate the site. In conjunction with Supervisor Matt Haney’s office, the East Cut CBD conducted a survey that generated over 2,000 responses from residents regarding their preferences for site use. In December 2020, the OCII issued an RFP for interim activation of the site and the East Cut Landing Partners was selected.

Street Soccer USA, a leading national social enterprise and non profit sports and events company operating across 8 cities
